Hello! I'm Yunika, a creative learning experience designer passionate about transforming how people learn and grow in the enablement space. With a proven track record in launching customer product academies, certification programs, in-app guides, on-demand curricula, and virtual labs, I focus on creating experiences that enhance engagement and drive meaningful business outcomes.

I'm passionate about innovative problem-solving and leveraging emerging technologies like Cloud and GenAI to create impactful learning solutions. My approach combines strategic thinking with creative execution, always seeking new ways to help learners achieve their full potential through transformative educational experiences.

About my name

My journey as Yunika (YOO-nee-ka) began after college, when I started teaching in a small village in Nepal, three hours from Kathmandu. The pace of life felt so simple and different from China, where I had lived. I shared daily rhythms with my students—lessons, meals, laughter, and care. At the end of the school year, a group of third-graders gave me the nickname Unika, sounds like "unique," which soon grew into Yunika. From the very beginning, my name was a vessel for love, courage, and a sense of adventure.

Since then, Yunika has been part of every chapter of my journey. It lived with me on the vibrant island of Mauritius, during another year of teaching. It came with me to the United States, where I taught in Utah and shared a home with a welcoming Mormon family. Now, it belongs here with me in the San Francisco Bay Area, a place alive with diverse cultures and endless innovation. Each of these places became a true home, where I worked, learned, and connected, immersed in the beauty of human resilience and joy.

To me, Yunika is more than a name. It has been a witness to my transition from educator to the tech world, to the courage it took to break old paths and navigate new ones. Today, I call the Bay Area home, a place where I feel both rooted and limitless. My name is the journey I carry forward: a bridge across cultures, a reminder that belonging has no borders, and the courage to keep exploring.

In my spare time...

When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring tech events, playing golf, or hanging out with my 2-year-old golden retriever. I also enjoy quiet moments with tea and meditation, occasional fishing trips, and live music events.
